"With the huge success of 'Stranger Things', it was natural that Netflix would continue to bet on supernatural stories with children or teenagers as protagonists. 'End of the World' is exactly that, what the platform itself classifies as a mix between 'Independence Day' and 'The Goonies'. The feature film is successful in its goal - which is to be expected, since it is directed by McG (of 'Charlie's Angels') and written by Zack Stentz ('X-Men: First Class'). There is no shortage of action and entertainment."
