The story, which follows the familiar vibe of the previous three films in the franchise, once again follows detective Axel Foley, who finds himself back in the sophisticated environments of Beverly Hills to investigate the untimely death of a long-time acquaintance. Directed by Mark Molloy, a first-time feature director with a celebrated career in advertising, the film leans even more into the Bad Boys vibe with a laid-back tone, plenty of humor, and just the right amount of action."
