Why watch this film?
While on a trip to Paris with his fiancée's family, a nostalgic screenwriter finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s every day at midnight.
"Do you ever get that feeling of nostalgia for the good old days or feel like you were born in the wrong era? Well, 'Midnight in Paris' is a movie entirely based on this idea. It's one of Woody Allen's best films (Oscar winner for best screenplay), and it has many of his director trademarks: a writer struggling with the creative process, a love for Europe, complicated romantic relationships and nostalgia for old idealisms. The cast led by Owen Wilson is phenomenal, accompanied by other great names like Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hiddleston, Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody and Léa Seydoux, among many others."
