Young writer Sal Paradise has his life shaken by the arrival of free-spirited Dean Moriarty and his girl, Marylou. As they travel across the country, they encounter a mix of people who each impact their journey indelibly.
"Directed by Walter Salles (“Central do Brasil”) and based on the book of the same name, written by Jack Kerouac, it features a stellar cast and beautiful cinematography (by Eric Gautier, from “Diarios de Motocicleta”). With sex, nudity, and drugs, it certainly isn't a movie for everyone and doesn't have the same impact as the original work. But still, the production has its merits and was even selected for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival."
