A young girl discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, she traverses dreams and flees nightmares, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again.
"'Slumberland' is a movie inspired by Winsor McCay's comic stories. The plot follows an 11-year-old girl, Nemo (Marlow Barkley), who one night discovers that it is possible to travel through dreams. She is accompanied by an eccentric man known as Flip (Jason Momoa), who accompanies her on her journey in the hope of seeing the father she recently lost. It is a cinematic adaptation with great special effects, great production values and a good cast, even if it lacks heart. Something interesting is to see Jason Momoa in a very different role from his tough characters (like in 'Game of Thrones' or 'Aquaman'), in a movie for the whole family."
