With an interesting performance by Guy Pearce, 'The Last Vermeer' makes the viewer dive headfirst into this man's life and quickly understand his actions as a form of personal contribution against the Nazis in World War II -- in the same vein as 'Schindler's List', but in a milder way. Thus, an indispensable movie for fans of drama, war and strong characters."
