From producer Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) comes this pulse-pounding horror-thriller. A petty thief (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a state-of-the-art SUV, only to find himself trapped inside. Controlled remotely by its vengeful owner (Anthony Hopkins), the vehicle becomes a deadly prison, hurtling him into a high-speed battle for survival.
"Starring Bill Skarsgård and Anthony Hopkins, Locked is a clever thriller about a thief who, while trying to steal a luxury SUV, falls into the trap of a self-proclaimed vigilante who is determined to ister his particular – and sadistic – brand of justice from a distance. The film takes place almost entirely inside the SUV, which requires some concessions to make it work: there is a lot of dialogue courtesy of Hopkins, and much is explained through exposition. However, the performances and the premise alone are interesting enough for this to be, at worst, an entertaining experience."
